ABOUT ME

Hey everyone, welcome! I’m Vanderlei Jr. 👋

I am a Senior Scrum Master and Agile Lead with over 7 years of daily, hands-on experience in the IT sector. Throughout my journey, I have dedicated myself to transforming software development environments by bridging the gap between agile frameworks and high-impact business outcomes.

My goal with Beyond the Daily Standup is simple: to move past the superficial practices of agility and dive deep into what actually moves the needle for engineering teams - predictability, metrics-driven leadership, and continuous evolution.

What I Do & How I Help Teams

I don’t just facilitate ceremonies; I optimize the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by establishing clear processes, improving team dynamics, and leveraging data to drive strategic decisions. My leadership style is highly collaborative, technical, and focused on delivering sustainable value.

  • Agile Governance & Metrics: Expert in implementing and analyzing Sprint Burndowns, Velocity trends, Cumulative Flow Diagrams (CFD), and establishing robust Definitions of Done (DoD) to protect team capacity and improve delivery predictability.

  • Process Optimization: Experienced in driving workflow improvements that lead to concrete results, including a 25% increase in team productivity within a ten-month period.

  • Community & Education: Passionate about sharing knowledge, I have served as an Agile Methodology Instructor for corporate education platforms, helping shape the next generation of agile professionals.

  • AI-Driven Project Management: Actively integrating Generative AI into project management workflows to automate repetitive tasks, optimize documentation, and speed up delivery cycles.

Professional Background & Credentials

My foundations are backed by both a solid academic background and industry-recognized certifications:
